How can you produce fresh microgreens efficiently without a large farm or traditional farmland? For indoor growers, microgreens offer an attractive option thanks to their short growing cycles, compact growing requirements, and suitability for high-density production.
An Italian customer planning to start a commercial indoor microgreens farming project was looking for a professional growing system that could make efficient use of limited indoor space while providing stable growing conditions. After discussing the customer’s production requirements, available space, and future expansion plans, we recommended the 6-2 microgreens growing system.
Designed for indoor commercial farming, the 6-2 system combines multi-layer growing racks, LED grow lights, and an irrigation system in one integrated solution. The vertical rack design makes better use of available floor space, while LED grow lights provide consistent lighting for microgreens. The irrigation system also helps reduce manual watering and simplify daily crop management.
Microgreens have a relatively short production cycle, allowing growers to organize staggered planting and harvesting schedules. By using multiple growing layers, the system can increase production capacity within a compact indoor area while supporting the cultivation of popular varieties such as pea shoots, radish microgreens, and sunflower microgreens.
During the project discussions, we provided detailed information about system specifications, installation, and operation. With confidence in the product quality and technical support, the customer decided to purchase five sets of 6-2 microgreens growing systems as the first phase of the project.
