Limited farmland? Go vertical. A customer from Malta is preparing to start a hydroponic tower growing project. Malta has limited agricultural land, while urban agriculture and sustainable growing are receiving increasing attention. This makes vertical hydroponic farming a practical option for making better use of available space and exploring new ways to produce fresh crops.
The customer already had basic farming experience but was new to hydroponic tower systems. Before moving into larger-scale production, he wanted to test how different crops would perform in Malta’s Mediterranean climate, while gaining hands-on experience with irrigation, nutrient management, and daily system operation.
After several rounds of technical discussions, the customer decided to start with 4 sets of 6P10 hydroponic towers. Each tower features 10 growing layers and 60 planting sites, providing enough capacity to test different crops while making efficient use of vertical space.
The trial will allow the customer to observe crop growth under local light and temperature conditions, adjust the growing approach based on actual results, and collect useful data for future planning.

Rather than rushing into a large project, the customer chose to start with a practical trial, learn from real growing results, and use the data to plan the next step.For this Malta project, four 6P10 towers are the starting point — with the potential to grow into a larger vertical hydroponic operation in the future.
