Faced with the challenges of growing vegetables due to limited land and climate change, this US customer started to look at hydroponic farming. He decided to start with a trial of our vertical hydroponic tower system to try out a more water-efficient and sustainable growing solution and find a new direction for the future of vegetable production.
The customer chose our model 12P20 hydroponic tower, a vertical hydroponic tower system with a compact design and a small footprint. There are 20 levels, each with 12 growing holes, providing a total of 240 growing spaces, which is ideal for intensive production of fast-growing crops such as leafy greens and herbs. The hydroponic tower utilizes a recirculating water system, which saves more water compared to traditional planting, saving more than 90% of water, while avoiding pesticides and soil contamination, making the planting process cleaner and safer.
While traditional agriculture is highly restricted by weather, the hydroponic growing tower system operates in a controlled environment and is not affected by climate, allowing for a stable supply throughout the year. This provides a more flexible and sustainable alternative to agriculture.
