For growers looking to expand pineapple production in the Caribbean, making efficient use of growing space while managing initial investment is an important consideration. A customer from Trinidad and Tobago became interested in 10-layer pineapple hydroponic tower without grow lights and planned to purchase a small quantity to test the local market.
The hydroponic tower features a multi-layer vertical design that makes efficient use of available space while providing multiple planting sites within a compact footprint. Its recirculating nutrient solution system supplies water and nutrients to plant roots, helping improve resource efficiency and simplify daily growing management. For growers who want to evaluate the potential of hydroponic pineapple production before expanding, this design offers a practical starting point.
The customer initially planned to order five towers but was hesitant when the freight forwarder required a minimum order value of US$2,000 for less-than-container-load shipping. After reviewing the costs together, we explained that increasing the order quantity could spread the shipping cost across more units. We also provided hydroponic accessories suited to local growing conditions, along with detailed growing guidance to support the customer’s initial trial. After considering the overall costs and growing plans, the customer decided to order 12 towers and completed payment. The shipment has since arrived at the customer’s location, providing a starting point for market testing and potential future expansion.
