The Philippines has a warm climate throughout the year, and the market demand for leafy vegetables continues to grow, especially in urban supply chains where stable supplies of fresh lettuce and other greens are increasingly important. To improve production efficiency and optimize seedling management, a local greenhouse operator introduced our hydroponic microgreen seedling system, hoping to shorten the overall growing cycle and increase greenhouse output through a more efficient nursery solution.
The customer originally used traditional seedling methods, where seed germination and early plant growth were easily affected by temperature, humidity, and changing outdoor weather conditions. This often led to uneven germination and unstable growth rates, which then affected transplanting schedules and the overall production plan. To solve this problem, the customer chose our hydroponic microgreen system as an important solution for the greenhouse nursery stage.
The system uses a controlled-environment seedling rack design, providing more stable water, nutrients, and oxygen supply for seed germination and early plant development. This helps achieve more uniform germination rates and healthier early growth. Compared with traditional soil-based nurseries, hydroponic seedling production is cleaner, easier to manage, and reduces disease risks as well as labor costs.
With a stable nursery environment, the customer can arrange transplanting schedules more accurately and maintain a more continuous and predictable vegetable production cycle, avoiding the common delays found in traditional seedling management. Faster seedling growth also allows the customer to increase annual planting cycles and achieve higher yields within the same greenhouse area.

This investment not only improved overall production efficiency but also brought better economic returns. By maintaining a stable supply of high-quality leafy vegetables, the customer can better meet market demand, improve product competitiveness, and further optimize greenhouse operation management.
