An urban family in Guatemala chose to start a new experiment in soilless culture by installing a set of our 8P10 Hydroponic Pineapple Towers in their garden. With its vertical design, this hydroponic system has a small footprint but is capable of growing up to 80 plants at a time. For diversification, the customer has grown leafy greens, herbs and strawberries in the hydroponic tower.
This hydroponic tower system supplies the required nutrients to the vegetables and fruits through a recirculation system, eliminating the need for soil and avoiding the risk of pests and diseases, and is especially suited to the warm and humid climate of Central America. The efficient delivery mechanism of the hydroponic system promotes rapid plant growth, and the customer's family successfully harvested their first batch of home-grown fresh produce in just a few weeks.
The vertical hydroponic tower structure makes full use of the limited yard space, which not only saves land resources, but also enables high-density planting to meet a family's daily demand for organic food. The use of hydroponic growing system not only improves the diet structure, but also enhances the interaction and cooperation among family members.
With this new growing technique of soilless cultivation, the average family can easily realize a self-sufficient and sustainable lifestyle.
