A long-standing client in Slovakia gained a more intuitive understanding of hydroponic farming's efficiency and convenience after purchasing our hydroponic tower last year. This year, he plans to expand from traditional leafy greens to indoor microgreens and scallion production.
Considering the local climate's short daylight hours, low temperatures, and outdoor planting limitations during autumn and winter, we recommended the Microgreen System and Ebb and Flow System—both better suited for year-round indoor production. The Microgreen Hydroponic System employs soil-free growing, requiring no soil and yielding harvests in just 10–15 days. It excels for high-value crops like microgreens, scallion seedlings, and pea shoots. The entire system is simple to operate, clean, and odor-free, making it ideal for indoor spaces or small commercial kitchens.
The EBB hydroponic system offers broader crop compatibility, supporting not only various microgreens but also stable cultivation of leafy greens like lettuce, kale, cilantro, and spinach. Its automated ebb-and-flow cycle provides consistent oxygen and moisture, eliminating uneven manual irrigation while achieving higher germination rates and more uniform growth. This makes it ideal for growers planning future scale-ups.
After reviewing our real-world planting results, the client expressed strong confidence in the system's high productivity and indoor suitability. They ultimately confirmed the purchase of two units and plan to scale up production following successful testing. We look forward to their first harvest of microgreens and supporting their vision of establishing an efficient, sustainable indoor micro-farm in Slovakia.
