NFT Hydroponic Growing System Testing in Australia

2025-12-17

An agricultural company with a strong reputation in Australia, specializing in greenhouse solutions, has clearly observed a rapid increase in market demand for efficient hydroponic equipment in recent years.

Australia enjoys abundant sunlight but faces a climate prone to change. Against the backdrop of high water costs, an increasing number of growers are turning their attention to more stable, water-efficient cultivation methods. In response to this trend, the company decided to expand its existing custom greenhouse business by introducing hydroponic cultivation equipment, further enhancing its solution portfolio.

As the first step in this expansion, the client purchased a sample NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) hydroponic system from us. This serves two purposes: conducting comprehensive testing of the system's structure, materials, and actual cultivation outcomes; and establishing a standard demonstration area within their own greenhouse to visually showcase the advantages of hydroponics and vertical farming to clients.

During practical use, the NFT system demonstrated excellent compatibility with the greenhouse layout, fully showcasing the benefits of vertical cultivation. The multi-tiered structure efficiently utilized the greenhouse's height, significantly boosting yield per unit area without expanding footprint—ideal for Australia's common small-to-medium commercial greenhouses. The system operated stably with smooth nutrient solution circulation, providing a uniform, oxygen-rich root environment for leafy greens and herbs.

The successful sample testing lays a solid foundation for the client's entry into hydroponics and vertical farming. They plan to deeply integrate the NFT hydroponic system with their greenhouse projects, offering growers efficient, water-saving, and easy-to-manage modern cultivation solutions while creating new growth opportunities for their own business.
