Commercial Microgreens Hydroponic System with LED Grow Lights and Ventilation Setup

2026-04-23

The customer first contacted us by email to inquire about a microgreens hydroponic system, looking to build a stable, efficient, and continuous production solution for commercial microgreens growing. During the initial communication, we learned that the customer had already studied a large amount of hydroponic microgreens cultivation knowledge through social media platforms and professional resources. They had a solid understanding of microgreens growth cycles, lighting requirements, environmental control, and the differences between hydroponic growing and traditional soil cultivation.

Because the customer already had strong knowledge of hydroponic farming, the main focus of the consultation was not basic growing concepts, but the practical structure of the hydroponic microgreens system, equipment configuration, and actual growing performance. Based on the customer’s previous hydroponic experience, we focused on optimizing the planting solution and discussed the operating logic of the hydroponic microgreens growing system, lighting layout, airflow design, and the growth performance of different microgreen varieties.

To help the customer better understand the relationship between system configuration and crop performance, we shared multiple hydroponic microgreens growing videos and technical documents. These materials covered key production stages such as seeding methods, light cycle settings, ventilation management, disease prevention, humidity control, and harvest timing. This professional and efficient communication process gave the customer greater confidence in the system design, and they highly appreciated our technical support and responsive service.

After confirming the growing goals and application scenarios, we worked with the customer to finalize the order quantity and product configuration. The customer ultimately decided to purchase two sets of the high-configuration 6×2 hydroponic microgreens growing system.

Based on the standard setup, the customer added one extra row of LED grow lights on each layer to improve overall light intensity and ensure more uniform light coverage. This helps promote stronger leaf expansion, better color development, and higher quality microgreens production. In addition, each layer was equipped with an independent circulation fan to improve airflow, reduce humidity accumulation, and lower the risk of mold and plant diseases. Better ventilation also helps microgreens grow more compactly, healthier, and with stronger commercial consistency.

Compared with traditional soil cultivation, the hydroponic microgreens system offers significant advantages. Since no soil is used, the growing environment is much cleaner and reduces the risk of soil contamination, making it especially suitable for food-safe and hygienic commercial microgreens production. Through precise control of water, nutrients, lighting, and ventilation, the system significantly improves germination consistency, uniform growth, and predictable harvest cycles.

Most microgreens varieties can complete a full growing cycle within 7 to 14 days, allowing for fast turnover and high production efficiency. This makes the system highly suitable for commercial supply chains, restaurant distribution, premium fresh produce markets, and high-frequency harvesting operations.

After confirming all technical details and final system configurations, the customer asked us to calculate the shipping cost. Once the freight charges were confirmed, we issued and sent the official invoice as requested. Because the customer needed to apply for a bank loan, the payment process was slightly delayed. After the financing approval was completed, the customer directly made the full payment.

After receiving the payment, we immediately submitted the order to the factory and officially entered the production stage. At the same time, we prepared installation guidance and after-sales support plans to ensure the system could be quickly installed and smoothly put into operation for commercial microgreens hydroponic farming as soon as it arrived.
