Ahmed lives in Dubai, where the climate is dry and extremely hot. The intense sunlight and extreme temperatures make traditional leafy vegetable cultivation very challenging. Imported leafy greens like lettuce and spinach are not only expensive but also often inconsistent in quality. The built-in LED grow lights provide the optimal light spectrum to support healthy growth of leafy greens such as arugula, lettuce, spinach, and basil.
With the accompanying mobile app, Ahmed can monitor plant growth in real time and adjust hydroponic conditions and lighting schedules to optimize the growing environment. Arugula is ready to harvest in just 21 days, lettuce forms a full head in about 30 days, spinach leaves can be continuously harvested starting from day 25, and basil is ready for the first harvest after 28 days. The fast growth rate ensures steady and reliable yields.
Using the 6P7 hydroponic tower, Ahmed harvests over 1.5 kilograms of fresh leafy greens weekly. This hydroponic system not only reduces his grocery expenses but also enables year-round, sustainable leafy vegetable production despite extreme climate conditions.
